What's the GOP so worried about that they filed a petition lawsuit to remove Jason Wolff from the November ballot, as they seek to stop a three-way competition for DA?
The GOP lost the highly qualified former Republican Judge, Jason Wolff, just like they're losing independents across the state of Texas. Wolff is attempting to give Bexar County voters a nonpartisan independent meaningful option.
Wolff said to the San Antonio Report about this case: “Every circulator and each signature collected were real,” Wolff said. “The Republican candidate and party, not the voters whose voices matter, are trying to limit Bexar County’s choice for district attorney. They will not be successful."
For LIV this case is all about electoral competition.
We wish independent candidate Jason Wolff the very best in his quest for ballot access.
The case goes to court tomorrow on Tuesday, September 1. It wouldn't surprise us if the Judge immediately rules from the bench.
