LIV News: Deregulating Democracy

LIV

Logo for League of Independent Voters
LIV is a nonprofit, nonpartisan voter association for the growing number of Americans who call themselves independent. Like Davy Crockett, we "wear no man's collar."

Should independent voters be running through the streets with hair on fire, buck or butt naked? OK, you don't have to answer that.

Why is government in a rush to enact big changes, without sincerely asking us what we want? It's not just the federal government that is up to this. You see this at the local and state level too.

In our lead article, "Trump's 50% defense cuts loose Perot's crazy aunt and David Stockman," we put forward an idea to, "Deregulate Democracy."

Join us at our next weekly meeting, this coming Tuesday, February 25 at 8 pm to discuss it and what's happening at the Texas Lege.
