This morning Lee County passed a resolution for a data center moratorium and a special session to be called by Gov. Greg Abbott. Meanwhile, Bastrop County is a work in progress. We'll explain tonight how this happened and what open government has to do with it related to Bastrop County's decision to seek DOJ/Homeland Security funding.

Area residents and local officials are invited to attend this Data Centers Bastrop County Town Hall on Wednesday, July 22 at 6 pm at The Hampton Inn. RSVP for a real Town Hall in Bastrop and share the Event page.

We want to see counties across the state join Lee County and others to call upon the Governor for a special session or a data center moratorium.
