This free event is at the Bastrop (not Elgin) location of Southside BBQ. Come at any time from 4 to 7 pm. We will register voters and give you what you need to replace officials who have created mass industrialization chaos to Bastrop County. PS You do not need to eat at this event.

About the event
In the words and memory of Jack Gargan, father of the term limits movement, the most popular citizens inititiave in U.S. history, "T.H.R.O" -- throw the hypocritical rascals out!
To date, Bastrop County refuses to merely post and archive videos of their meetings. They continue to refuse to hold meetings in the evenings for working people to attend. They pass meaningless resolutions that wave a white flag that Bastrop County remains open for mass industrialization chaos, with data centers, gas plants and manufacturing facilities next to residences as the Governor calls for a "pause."
What happens after the election? This depends on whether Bastrop voters are willing to exercise their vote to remove and replace officials, regardless of their party affiliation. That is the essence of the independent voter. Join us for this event and bring your neighbors at any time from 4 to 7 pm. Because seating is limited, we want a steady stream of folks coming throughout those hours.
This is a cross-partisan event -- for all voters regardless of party affiliation or leanings.

You generally do not need to bring physical identity documents to complete a voter registration application with a VDR. Instead, you will fill out the official Texas voter registration form, which requires specific identification numbers:
Texas Driver's License or Personal ID Number: You must write down your active Texas Driver’s License or Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Personal ID number on the form.
Social Security Number: If you do not have a Texas Driver’s License or Personal ID, you must provide the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number on the application.
If you have neither: You can check a box on the registration application indicating that you have not been issued a Texas Driver's License/ID or a Social Security Number.
Eligibility Criteria
To register in Bastrop County, you will affirm on the form that you meet the following requirements:
Be a U.S. citizen.
Be a resident of Bastrop County.
Be at least 17 years and 10 months old at the time of application (and 18 years old by Election Day).
Not be currently serving a sentence, probation, or parole for a felony conviction.
Not have been declared mentally incapacitated without the right to vote by a court.
