About the Event
NOTICE: LIV does not provide legal advice. If you are an independent candidate, you must not vote in the current primary or you will be disqualified. This meeting is FREE for LIV members and independent candidates who have filed a proper Declaration of Intent to run for office. IMPORTANT: At this meeting, we will establish a working group -- LIV's Petition Group -- to help you manage your petition drive. Be forewarned, we will ask you to become a Silver dues-paying LIV member ($200). These funds help us help as an all-volunteer organization without staff.

Petitioning starts on March 4 with a filing deadline of June 25. However, IF there's a runoff in your race, you will have only 30 day…
